We both stayed at the hotel and dined in the restaurant. The location in general is great. In the middle of the old town of Schermbeck, very nicely located. Hotel: Clean and functional room. A little cramped and a very small TV, but both the bed and the sanitary area are great! The breakfast was great - fresh and sufficient! A garage was available for the bikes. Restaurant: Nice outside area and well furnished inside area. The staff was friendly and didn't make you wait too long. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were sufficient. Clearly to be recommended!

Christmas dinner with the family, very cozy. Service very friendly. The menu was set up for the Christmas dinner, good selection. Unfortunately, the vegans were not taken into account, which was a shame. But the food was very good.

We have already been here several times to eat and cannot find anything negative about the food itself. On the contrary - the food tastes really freshly prepared and well seasoned. What we unfortunately have to find out again and again is that the meal is served far too quickly or the main course is served immediately after the starter ordered. That clearly takes away the coziness and somehow reminds of fast food. Once we were the only guests and within 40 minutes we were outside again (despite a starter). A bit of a buffer should simply be taken into account here, then the whole thing has more flair. I don't have to continue eating 30 seconds after the starter :-).

Price / performance really great, renovated - visually appealing rooms with Wi-Fi and TV, very friendly front desk and a rich breakfast, what more could you want, I really liked it

A well-kept hotel, located in a cozy part of the town. Rooms well-equipped, internet connection also works without any complaints. The only downside is the car park which is located about 100 meters away, with large luggage is a bit harder but to survive. Service very friendly. I think that staying there is successful. recommend

I would give even more stars! Seldom has it been eaten so well and served so nicely! We were there ... sat great outside. ... 2 adults and 3 children. .... everyone tasted it great ... good portions and normal prices! Very friendly waiter! We'll go back for sure !!
